i just bought the new integy piggyback shocks in blue the msr5 shocks all 8 brand new for 100$ shipped did i do good ???

not the old msr4 the new msr5 ones is what i got they just came out

to me 100 is alot but i was told it was a good deal so i got it

did i get a good deal???

I bought a set from Wicked Wyndz R/C about two months ago. Paid $89.95 for mine, including postage. MSR4 piggybacks, in silver.

I also ordered an aluminum (rear) shock tower. $24.95, shipped.

Just double-checked their site - damn! They've raised their prices

edit : noticed you were talking about the MSR-5 shocks, not the 4. :ball:

yea i was refering to msr5 ones but u got good deal on msr4 I've seen the cheapest as 88$ buy it now on ebay with 8$ shipping for the msr4 ones so 96$ total

What's different about the MSR5 shocks as compared with the older ones? Integy doesn't say anything about them on their site other than that they're "New And Improved"

it said better oil reserves
stronger and more durable

Hopefully Integy has made the MSR5 shock body/cap threads more durable than the MSR4s. I had a run in with a tree and hyperextended a control arm. The ball end threads held up better than those fine aluminum threads did.

a guy on ebay had them listed 2 sets of silver 2 sets of blue for 110 a set or 115 buy now a set and 6 shipping but i emailed him and offered 100 shipped he said ok
