I was hoping to find a simple run down of the vintage associated pan cars, the differences etc
The 10s and 12 electrics and the RC000 series 8th nitro cars

I'm thinking about getting a pan car or 2

thanks
cheers

Not what i asked but thanks,

;)

The car you linked is great just not my thing.

I'm old school into vintage old school stuff,
For example a 454 69 vette convertible would likely get spanked by a tuner in his honda but i bet you can guess the one i drive:thumbs-up:

And yeah, i like old school vintage with my toys too, mosty nitro, but old electric is good at times,

Actually after i posted this i found some of what i was hunting,
I'm gonna try to find a rc500 2wd

and a rc12 for my tribute build,

I'm also doing the rc10 based dirt oval nitro build and rc10 based bomber build, electric, at least at first,

Have a good one,
Cheers

I just finished rebuilding and modernizing a rc10L3. Shes fast and fun. Was able to source most of the original parts. Its a 1994 model.

Good luck with your build. I am looking for a traxxas spirit now.

Very sweet doc, thsnks for sharing
Just the type of old school I'm interested in,

While I'm not going to go modern electrics i do understand why people do,

I'm going to do a 12th pan car, based around,

Not sure what i want to use under it,

The rc 500 is the best as it has suspension and 4wd but it's also heavier than the 250 and 300 series.
I was thinking about buying a used 300 but I found a new retro nitro pan car in a kit and price I can afford.
Not to mention the fun of a rear wheel drive car makes for adrenaline fun day of driving.
I took love the old can am cars.
