Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a Ansmann virus 2.0 and every 4/5 tanks of using it i seem to go through a set of brakes. I'm rubbing right through the friction material and down to the metal. The front brake goes first and then the rear. I think the front goes first due to me spilling fuel on the pads and braking them down.

So are the any better quality brake pads i could get that would be more durable ?

When i change them i set them up so they are not binding and the discs can wobble a tidy bit with out binding.

Thanks from mike

Welcome to the site! Be patient I'm sure someone will have an answer for you. I'm not familiar with upgrades for your rig myself but your in the right forum to find answers.

It's possible, but Doubtful that spilled fuel would cause wear to the pads that quickly. More likely the brakes are binding at at some point.
Make sure they do not bind at any point of applying throttle or when the throttle is in the neutral position.
On some models the linkage if not adjusted properly can drag/bind and apply brakes at full or partial throttle.

Dint think of that as the linkage works both ways.
The idea about the fuel damaging them was that it brakes down the glue they are made from
