If there was a pitbull sleeping and a lab sleeping and you had to go up and twist ones ears, which would you choose? Which one do you think would bite? Which bite do you think youd be most likely have to get stiches for? Thats my point.
Also What I meant by just going up and hitting one was cuz thats what kids tend to do. Also it wouldnt even take as much to actually touch it, just look em in the eyes. Thatll do the trick.

The owner should have controll over their dog.

If a dog is tied up in the yard, its probably not gonna bite anyone.

My biggest problem is people how dont train their dogs, I dont think they should bann a breed just cause it was breed how ever many years ago to fight, I have been with Pit's that are the sweetist dogs I have seen and I have seen labs that will rip your hand off if you look at it, They shouldnt bann pits just cause some pits have attacked/killed people

Yeah, but how many pit bulls have you seen that wanted to rip your head off, and how many labs have you seen that ALSO wanted to rip your head off?

I've NEVER seen an aggressive lab, but i've sure as hell seen plenty of aggressive pit bulls. I don't think there's anyone in the United States that can say he/she has NEVER seen an aggressive pit bull.

Yeah you are correct I have seen a lot more pits that are willing and ready to rip my head off, but I also dont go and pet random dogs thath I dont know, or throw things at them to make them mad, or tease them, I find it very hard to believe that the people who get bitten are just walking down the street minding their own buissnes and all of a sudden a random mean pit jumps out of no wear and bites people. I dont know how many times I have seen people mostly children go up to a strange dog and get bitten.

good that you mentioned this.....
1) you are realizing the choice of petting a random dog is NOT a smart thing to do
2) I agree usually a dog attacks when provoked...I'm sure the majority of dog attacks are from some form of provocation
3) I taught my daughter at a very young age how to act around dogs.....if more people would do the same I'm sure this topic wouldn't even be on the table

As a livestock owner, I've seen the damage done by a lot of different animal breeds. Pit bulls are the worst and for some reason one of the more common attackers. But to be fair...most of the time I'd rather shoot the owner than the dog. Just like cuttin' the fingers off a thief!!! Nuff said.
