I was out bashing at a local park today, and when I stopped to re-fuel, I noticed that my manifold was dented. I have an RC10GT, and the body was on the truck the entire time. I have been racking my brain, but cannot figure out how this happend. I have Masher 2000 tires on it, and from what I can tell, nothing would have been able to hit the pipe. Here is a picture of what it looks like....the funny thing is that this is not my picture, but one I found on the web....but its the same, right down to the little lines in the middle of the dent. Please help.

Thanks

Where is the exhaust in relation to the tires? Do you run in rocks or stones?
Prolly getting stones chunked at the pipe and denting it up.
My Buggy has the stinger tip behind the left front wheel and it is getting banged to hell and back.

I cannot say then, it sure looks like some kind of debris hit it.
Hope you find out cause it is strange.

i have a nice large dent on the manifold on my maxx and dont know whwere it came from dont worry about just go bash some more and see if you get another one in it lol

I dented my tuned pipe on my USA-1 Nitro Crusher, it sits about 5 inches above the ground. I went and looked where it happened and found a chunk of cement hidden in the dirt, that was the only thing that could have done it. I don't know how it got up high enough to hit and dent the pipe but it did.

Have you flipped the truck over 180° to land on the lid? Those dents might be from the shocks when the shock tower flexed on an impact.
