ok here is where i stand. I've got a heavily modded e-savage in need of diffs and a steering servo, a brushless jammin crt.5 in need of a 4S lipo, a blade cx2 with about 400 invested that i can't get to fly right so it sits in a box, and a stock mini lst.

The problem is that its going to take $200 to replace the savage diffs with ones that won't break and another 130 for a steering servo. The crt battery is going to run right over 200 and i still need to do alot of work to the mini lst but thats coming later.

SO. do you just wait and save and eventually get them all running or should i part out the e-savage and get the crt.5 and mini complete? I could get well over 500 for the savage parts if i went that route. its such a sick rig tho.....

opinions, ideas, smart remarks.........

pick a project, save for it, buy and complete. pick another project, save for it, buy and complete....

Its a nice little circle. if your gonna sell somthing, make it somthing you dont need like your 1:1 car or your house. ya know, little stuff like that. Oh and who really needs food anyway?

Don't encourage me. :D
i can take it. i have VERY THICK skin. i've been e-bashin since al gore created the internet :D

yeah but it just sucks waiting that long. another $350 to get the savage running again. That just blows. $200 to get the crt where i want it. another few hundred to beef up the mlst.

I know exactly what you mean! My aftershock is in need of parts and assembly. my crawler is in need of electronics. and i just traded my old busted up T-maxx for a busted up heli.

Personally, I find it very hard to part with my vehicles. A few months ago I was in the same position as you, I had a bunch of unfinished vehicles and I just wanted to get to the point where I only had one or two project cars. That's when I sold my M18. I really liked that car but I really never ran it. It deserved to be at the racetrack and I believe that's what it's doing these days. On the flipside, only 2 of my 7 vehicles aren't RTR now which is nice.

Be like Rolex and buy a really big shelf from shelves-r-us and display it with pride . :p: I kid cause i care :hehe:

I'll be at Sam's club for the next few hours. I've added the crawler and I have half a dozen lids. I need the shelving. :hehe:

2 helis, 4 planes and 2 boats...almost forgot about them. I will have to go to Shelves-R-Us.

that is a pickle....i know how it sucks to wait on one project at a time....i have no advice lol, thought i did but it went out the window.

i know. and i LOVE it. people flip when they see that thing ride a wheelie down the street and then come blasting back.
