I'm currently in the market for a new truck and am having trouble making a decision. I'm between AE sc10, slash, 1/16 slash and blitz. I hear that HPI has horrible customer service, and Slash and SC10 are pretty good all around. I don't really plan on racing but would probably get into it later. I'm not hard on my trucks and usually only break parts through normal wear and tear. Also 1/16 or 1/10 slash? Any major differences? Any advice for a noob on a decent rig? I don't plan on lipo yet and brushless is out of my price range but I will upgrade later.

Thanks

I can tell you that most people that I have heard from that bought the 1/16 slash weren't that happy just from a handling standpoint because they flip all the time. If you are going 1/16th then the brushless mini Revo is your rig trust me the extra $$ is worth it over the brushed version. As far as between the SC10 and the 1/10 Slash they are both great, the SC10 will handle on the track a bit better but be less durable then the Slash and the Slash has better aftermarket support for parts.

I just found out that my girlfriend is contributing to my addictions by getting me a slash or a sc10 as a xmas gift. I think i just might pick up what she doesn't get me.

Thanks for the info though, I'd hate to spend money on something I'll regret.
