I need some help. I'm researching the following Traxxas's 3.3 vehicles and I'd like to know the intended purpose (race, backyard bashing, etc) behind the and y'alls opinions and I'd like to know:

1) Tmaxx
2) Revo
3) Jato

I'll be primarily backyard basing but might race rookie class from time to time.

If you're going to bash, hands down the Revo. The maxx is a great truck, but just can't take the abuse the Revo can. The Jato, on the other hand, is a stadium class truck, and can't take near the abuse the MT Revo can.

Plus, there are classes at almost every track that you can run the Revo in.

The Jato 3.3 is best suited to pavement, and in stock form will barely move on grass. On pavement it sure moves tho, it'll hit 60 without too much of a problem.

The T-Maxx 3.3 is a basher, its an old design, and is outdated.

The Revo is a basher or a racer, great at both. Its very durable and handles great, best all around truck IMO.

You said your a backyard basher, but want to try racing possibly, the Revo 3.3 is the perfect truck for you.

I'm gonna come off like the Cabesa pinga here and say this...for someone with a name like "webmasterino" I'd expect him to be a little more savvy on forums and use the search function...these topics are done to death on here and you can find a ton of threads on each of these......

Ouch! :surrender

If this topic has been "done to death," why did you get keep on reading? That was a rhetorical question. Your reply did not further enhance the value of RCNitroTalk; but I digress.

And yes, you did come off like the Cabeza de Pinga, unnecessarily.

Maybe he did come off as described, but it's still a valid point he brings up. The search function isn't there for decoration. Might want to give it a try once in awhile, may help narrow the scope of your questioning down, allowing you to fully experience the enhanced value of RCNitrotalk; ah, but I digress.

As to the general question you present, I, too, suggest the Revo for general bashing and racing. The Jato is wicked, wicked fast and fun as heck on a track, but it won't perform real well in grass or exceptionally rough terrain.

IMO the Revo 3.3 is your best buy dollar for dollar. I regret giving mine up. I don't have time to race so a Revo is just a great platform to use. Lots of support for upgrades.

Yes the search function is there to help all. Sometimes if you bring up an old one new ideas can be found. If you do that you alse lessen the amount of different threads that are started which in the end is more efficient. But hey were human.... just learn from your mistake.

Revo gets my vote.

Thanks for the recommendations (including the use of the search feature :boxing:). From my own research, I had decided on the Revo but just wanted last minute inputs.

It's all good.
