Just bought some industrial strength drain cleaner at Smart & Final... made an aluminum tray from tin-foil three layers thick... placed it in the sink with a purple
HPI Chassis... pored in the drain cleaner till the chassis was covered... in less then 5 min the aluminum foil was eaten away and the chassis turned black... Ran water over everything ( using gloves and eye protection ! ) and using a soft metal scrub pad easily rubbed off the black to a beautiful metallic silver chassis...

My LHS even sells Easy oven cleaner and Neverdull. I was in the Navy for four years, I know the amazing poweres of NeverDull...

i wouldnt use oven cleaner or toilet cleaner.. after using greased lightning thats all I'm gonna use.. you can leave the part in there overnight and it wont pit it.. and it doesn't tarnish the stuff nearly as bad as oven cleaner does.. plus it will do normal stuff in like 10 to 20 min max.. try this link for the greased lighting info..

True that!! Me too! Greased lightning is awesome as hell. That scrubbin crap sucks, and greased lightning just drop it in for like 7 or 8 mins and it looks completely raw.. Best stuff I've ever used.

What HS do you go to? I know your in the Houston area and was just wondering. I wouldnt mind trying others besides Fastrak.
