What the Hell would I know about cleaning toilets? That's a woman's job!
And yes, it's crystal draino you need. Mix it thin, stay with it. If left too long, it can start eating the aluminum.
Wear rubber gloves. Borrow them from a woman.

Once you get the anodizing off you should try Never Dull wadding polish made my Eagle one that stuff works awesome to polish aluminum!!! I use it on custom rims on my chevy truck it also works on many other metal surfaces. It come in a round chrome metal tin I bought it at Wall-Mart so you can probally get it anywhere. I'm thinking of deanodizing my T-Maxx chassis then polishing it with the eagle one after reading this thread :). Thanks for the Idea

Good point. After the Draino treatment, use a green scrubbie pad to get it really clean, then polish it with the Nevr-dul. It's amazing stuff.
Mine is pretty old, but it's in a blue and red can.

Yeah the rims on my Chevy where used when I got them I used that on them and everyone thought I had bought brand new rims!! I have had several hotrods over the years with aluminum mags and used several diffrent kinds of polish nothing has worked as well as this. Mothers also make a decent polish but takes alot more work to get that deep shine.

i got nev-r-dull and mothers mag wheel polish and a few others from the wax shop .
pure carnuba liquid,,thats amazing stuff there.
simply wet a 8x8 cloth baby diaper and goto town ,whats on the rag will do a complete car and last forever .hoenst used it and it works.
hell i might even wetsand it likei did my outlaw II wheels for my 4x4 truck take out all them circular mark in the wheels, turned out liek chrome after many manay hours of elbow work, lol
take care
and sorry rolex
lol

I aggree with the never dull. That stuff works wonders. It does an awesome job at polishing, and also takes care of gunk that can get caked on any of your parts.
Also, if the finish on the chassis has any nicks or scratches, use some really fine grit sandpaper to get it out. When i want to polish somethin i always get down to about 2500 grit wet sand paper. After ur done with that, hit it with the never dull and ull b amazed with the outcome. Itll look like chrome.

Yeah wet sanding will really make it look smooth I have built some custom model diecast cars and I would strip the paint off them down to the bare metal then wet sand it for what seemed like days lol then I would use the never dull on them and the end result was a almost chrome finish.

This thread should be used for advertising Never Dull that stuff is awsome

Sorry guys, but I deleted some info from the last few threads. We don't want any of the younger members trying it and getting hurt playing with things that go boom.
