Kinda hard to say. Being brand new ( I am thinking you got this NIB )I would say ok but with the recent updates to the truck, you may have been able to get a newer if not a 3.3 version of the maxx. No experience with the new 3.3. maxx just the 2.5 maxx.
I got my 3.3 for 320 before tax. I think you could have haggled to bring the price down, especially if it didn't come with any extras. Other than that, congrats

Not new you didnt. That is below cost @ my LHS. I paid $517 with fuel bottle, glow plugs and fuel new like a year ago. That is me haggling with them to bring the price down.

Actually I'm not lying I got it for 380 bucks out the door, including the ez-start battery, at HobbyTown USA. I have no clue where the receipt is or I'd prove it. I think they were having a sale, as the price has gone back up to 420.
I would say you should have talked them down to below 300$ at least I don't know about your hobby stores but I could get a brand new 2.5 which is a step above yours for 381.60 straight out the door not including gas, feul bottle, gp, and what not so all in all about 400 if I was to go to by lhs and by everything I need.
But great buy anywase I think you will like owning a t-maxx great fun and reliablility just keep them away from stumps, stumps don't like t-maxx.
