I Finally got the spur gear to stop stripping, I guess i got it messed correctly and I got the Maxx to idle good because i had changed out the clutch bearings. But it always something, I now broke the brackets on my servo so i can't bolt it down. So i got to get a new servo now or does anybody know a way i can fix it. I will post some pictures of the Maxx from today and the servo.

I also found a pipe in my basement, not sure if it will work on the tmaxx though.

Looks like an mip stinger pipe you would need the right header for it ,I personally would buy a better pipe,if you have a junk servo you can simply switch the tops out, the main cause of the ears breaking off is overtightening, i would invest some $ into some quality servos

Oh really, That pipe is not worth getting a header for? Is it better then the stock though?

Yeah i was going to do that for the mean time but i can't because the other servo is the same way. The only good servo with the brackets on it is the steering one and i need that.

So i got to buy a new Servo.:(

Its better than the stock plastic pipe, but you can pick up a really decent drop in pipe for cheap off ebay, your lhs may even have something

Yeah, I am going to check Ebay for a decent pipe. Do you know any off the top of your head so i want be getting no BS stuff. I was thinking about going ahead and upgrading the servos instead of getting the stock one i had in there.

I think u can just buy a new case for the servo.

I will check that out. It was weird how it broke, I was running the truck and i notice it would not go anywhere and when i gave it gas and that it wouldn't really idle.

T.h.s makes some really good pipes, .....I wouldnt waste any time on trx servos dude get a couple savox or spectrum servos

Will look them up and alright i will. Will i notice any difference with one of those servos? And will the pipe make a big difference?

The right pipe can make all the differance, as for the servos the right ones will make a great differance as well, do a little research so you understand the transit speed vs torque ratio and compare that against your trx servos you will be amazed at how much faster and stronger quality servos get, also upgrading to a 6v system will speed things up

Yeah i have a 6v system already. I am going to do some research too see if i can find a good servo for cheap. Because i just mess around with the truck ever now and then. Do not need nothing amazingly good but want something that I can see a difference with.

I found a stock "2018" Servo in my room. I am going to use that for the meantime. I was using the 2055 trx before.

The 2018 is a throttle servo the 2055 is a higher torque steering servo. Traxxas servo's are kinda weak anyhow.

Yeah, I was reading awhile back that the 2055 was better for the throttle so i changed it but not its ears are snapped off.
