RC Driving Style
Well I got my 2.5 rustler yesterday and all I can say about it

is ..... OMG. I'm still a noob at nitro r/c but was very impressed.

All need to do is buy me some shock oil since my little accident of

going over 40+mph and also a fail safe, STUPID BATTERIES, I was

playing cops and robers with it, since the batteries on the car

died out, also need some nitro (wonder when i will get it since I'm

broke :shrug: ) and some CF parts for RD. Almost forgot,

the pipe came off and HOLY it was hauling even more arse doing

wheelies all the time. O and could you all tell me like stuff that I

could make the 2.5 rustler be slower so it can go like 40 mph

instead of 50+mph since the speed is too much for me to handle.

lol, new batteries would help and be good to have in any r/c truck. the fail safe is a must have for any r/c too especially nitro trucks. as for the speed thing all that i could think of is gear it for torque and it will help take the speed away or u can just go and get a slow motor!:nope:

UPDATE: The cops and robers deal was not due to the batteries it was due to the crystal on the receiver, Some how the the rx crystal got hit by some thing dunno how though and came off with a pin, so now i gotta see if it will still work if i solder it. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: <--thats how i feel right now ....
 
Sup .recoil - Well, as for slowing it down....if you wanted a slower Stadium truck then you shouldn't have gotten the nitor rustler....lmao as it's a beast.....lay of the WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.....until you have the driving experience and the space to run it! (FYI....I've seen German made Nitro toruing cars that did 80+ phucking MPH @ sea level and they didn't wreck them...it's all in the tunning and especially driver experience)! I'd theorize that a much more restrictive exhaust pipe would slow your car down but that would be really GAY and good luck finding someone that actually makes one...lol. The Nitor rustler is definitley NOT a newb car but that car will teach you more about real RC driving then any RC monster truch and allot of touring cars ever will (if you don't break it)....like real off and on road power slides....etc.

Enjoy it, FYI....I would buy everything that RPM makes for that car but especially a front bumper!

OOOOHHh yeah almost forgot....as for the wheelies....even with the better (faster clutch) bell and great tunning the rustler wont do wheelies with ease stock. I'm sure that was from your header coming out of your exhaust....right??? Last week when my buddy and I where romping the phuck out of our T-maxx's, he slammed into the side of me and my motor was making a helcious noise and had mad power, it turned out that my header had come out of my exhaust!!!!
