So I ran for rebuilt 4908 maxx yesterday. I worked well, I had to heat cycle the picco 21 and start breaking it in. I was still breaking it in when It became a front wheel drive. I looked and half of my new MIP spline shaft was gone. I thought for sure it came loose. NOPE! I found it and the other small piece (after half an hour) and the pin had broke! Is this normal? I'm still amazed that I could find this stuff, but even more so that it broke. I thought the mips were strong.

Ok since nobody replied to this I just want to say if you ever get Mip splines, paint them blaze orange!! That way at least you will have a chance to find them when they come apart.

MIP's are not that great. Honestly the stock plastic driveshafts served me beautifully for 6 gallons. It's alll in the slipper clutch setting.
