remove the backplate and use the back part of a toothbrush handle to GENTLY push it up from teh bottom of the sleeve.....
try heating the case up with a heat gun if you have one as well.....

try a chopstick, or a bundle of zip ties poked in the exhaust port. then turn the crank and use the piston the push the sleeve out. its hard on the bearings, but about the only option to get it out without hurting the sleeve

Hey guys, I've tried this stuff with my old burned up s-25 engine..There is no way I see to reach the bottom of the sleeve from the backplate. Since its burned up and I just want the piston, what else could I try? I've tried prying it out, sticking something in the exaust port from the top and turning the shaft, nothing works.

you should be able to get something in the exhaust port. unless the sleeve is in there the wrong way.

With the carb and backplate removed you can use a heat gun to heat up the crank case which should help loosen up the tolerances a little bit, you can also put it in the oven but not as good in this case as it will heat the sleeve too.

If its truly stuck then you have a decision to make, break it or break it free, Carefully!!!! keep increasing force until one or the other happens, hopefully it comes out
