hey guys, just had a quick question.has anybody had trouble with your cylinder head getting beat up when you flip your truck?i noticed some scrapes on top of the cylinder head today.I'm sure you could break on if you hit hard enough.

I land on mine all the time and its bent all out of shape but it runs ok still.

its ok to have a bent head, i did but i replaced it becuase it looked all ugly!!

Just tie some zip ties along the top of the head, if you ask around thats what alot of people do. Protects the head when you roll it over. And even if you don't do it and break a cooling fin off it still won't kill your engine. But the zip ties are the way to go.

yea, zip ties are the shizz. They wont protect your head form those 20 ft "oooops!" half flips though :hehe:

Yes zip ties are the way to go. And if you decide to replace your head with a more expensive one and really want to protect it, go with a roll cage.
:winnar:

Yup, learning how to land correctly would be a good thing.:hehe: I flipped my savage on the street, left some pretty bad scratches:nono: Next time I get a new engine, or head, i'm gunna try the zip tie thing.
