MIP makes a nice set of CVDs. rcboyz.com has them in stock for the Savage in their clearance section.

Anyway..

thats funny dont care who you are lol

I was just kidding, I have brown hair and no Dad.
BTW, your mom sounds hot!

MIP make great CVDs. Dont mess around with others if you can get a good price on them.

the mip's are a lil cheaper at www.towerhobbies.com. who ever will ship em cheaper is who u go with if u want em but like everyone else said they are pricey. id prolly stick with the regular one or the hd's and just stock up on em.

rcboyz carries them for much less than tower.

IMO the stock bones are the best for it. Maybe upgrade the center ones to universals. The rest of the axles will be just fine. Just check for wear on the drive cups periodically.

Why would you spend the cash on 2-3 sets of stockers when you can get 1 good set and never worry about the issue again? If someone wants to just replace a bad one then so be it, but to stock up on parts that are know to go bad when a better part is available doesn't seem like the best bang for the buck.

In 12 gallons on my Savage I only bent one dogbone and snaped the drive pin off one. I ran the regular dogbone not the HD ones and didn't have a problem with them.

i didnt mean it as buy 3 sets. but like 1 complete set then when u bend one pop a new one in. if i spend 30 bucks on the cvd's which arent bullet proof either and i bend one. I'm gonna be pretty pissed since i gotta spend another 30 bucks to get more. ill admit I'm still pretty new to r/c stuff. i have another set of dogbones and if i bend those then ill prolly try the cvd's. i just think if your only gonna bash then get the dogbones.if your gonna do more then go with the cvd's.
