cutting tires??

You could also cype the tires after cutting lugs out thats what I'm planning, just get a exacto knife and put small slices in the lugs it will make the tires more plyable and give you more traction. I had it done to my 1:1 and it made a huge differance so I would assume it would work on a smaller scale and on a 1:1 it will make your tires last longer because they wont run as hot.

I just came from a little track session, and it was pretty interesting. They are by no means bowties, but I could definitely see a difference, not really in traction while accelerating, but it was a little better through the corners. It still slips and slides, but it is a little more predictable and recoverable rather than just losing it everywhere. I would say that for a free mod, I think it was worth while.

Cool ill pull out the chainsaw and start on mine right away lol

I did it with a pair of dikes, a boxcutter, and a pair of needle nose. I would use the dikes to cut both sides of the notch, grab the rubber between the 2 cuts that I made with the needle nose and pull on it a little bit to open up the 2 cuts so you can get the blade in there, and use the boxcutters to trim the rubber off there. It may sound confusing in writing, but if you do it, you will see what I mean

Makes sense to me :) I havent tried it yet so I will keep that in mind thanks :)
