cutting out

my tmaxx 3.3 seems to cut out when you give it too much throtle at once, i can't figure out why it is doing this, does anybody know why its doing this. It seems to do right before it is supposed to shift. Any advice is very much appreciated, because I'm real new to nitro and not much of a mechanic.
