cutting crankshaft

Can the crankshaft on the mach 427 be cut to fit in the Tmaxx? It is the only thing keeping it from sitting right in on my truck. If so, how does the clutch and beel gear go on, the sirio .18 that is in uses a c clip but this one doesn't. PLEASE HELP, THANKS
