Hi. I'm pretty new to nitro and i have the traxxas slayer pro and it has a very similar design to the Revo.
It is running great exceppt for when I use the breaks at high speed to bring the car to a stop. When I do so, the motor shuts off when I am almost to the stop. It idles just fine so I do not believe that the LSN is wrong.
Any ideas on what whould make to engine stall and how i can fix it?

Thanks

Sounds like you made idle adjustments with your throttle trim instead of your idle screw, the idle adjustment screw needs to be adjusted so that it doesn't close too much when the brakes are applied.

Yup! Had the same issue was driving me crazy. Whenever I stopped my truck or hit brakes it would cut out. Definitely ur idle screw adj.

If you hold the vehicle off of the ground and hit the brakes and the engine stops, it is probably a failed clutch bearing.

If it doesn't cut off when you do this then it is probably carburetor mixture adjustment related. I suggest that you raise the idle speed.
