yeah yesterday it was loose, but i tightened it back up cause fuel was actually leaking out. so thats not the problem anymore, but the problem still persists.

Ok, the only thing I can think of is that there might be debris in that fitting from when it was loose take it apart and clean it thoroughly.

i just took my engine head off and i saw where the brass gasket is, it looked wet, but only underneath where the gasket is, so i figure it liquid which is thicker than air could get underneath it, so could air. cleaned it, tightened it back down. I'm gonna run it tomorrow and see how goes it:)

It could be a lot of things. Perhaps I missed it, but have you changed the exhaust gasket? You might also check to ensure nothing is binding. I had a similar trouble once in another vehicle, and it turned out to be a diff shimming issue (the pinion was slightly rubbing against the diff housing).

How many gallons on the engine? You are confident it's tuned well, correct? Unsure of your tuning experience...but imagine you went flush/flush tried it and it ran hotter than it should at factory settings?

scroll up lol. i dont feel like re-typing everything, I'm too lazy right now. i went flush/flush/flush. i got a 3 screw carb, going to go back out and try it again when i get time

Yeah, I see it. I'm just saying sometimes guys think they have their engine tuned right and end up chasing rabbits...but in the end it turned out because of the engine's tune. I just read it was new and that you have yet to get it running right...but missed where you stated you validated there was not binding.

Setting back to factory is useless if you tune it the same way. I hope that makes sense.

Believe me, I've had problems where I knew it was not my tune and I was right, so it can be frustrating to hear. However, the a lot of the problems I faced my first two years dealt with tuning so have seen what a big difference it makes. If you feel good about your tuning experience and this engine, then definitely start ruling out ancillary items. Just throwing out ideas and trying to help.;-)

You noted the engine was new so not sure why you sealed it. I know a lot of guys on here like to seal their new engines, but I think I've only sealed one of mine after 3-5 gallons and that was only after I verified it had a leak after using brake cleaner trick NitroJedi taught me.

The 12-15 I have not sealed run fine. Better than fine in that they all kick-ass (at least in my opinion). Seems chances of a non-expert jacking something up vs having a leak from the factory, which I know cane happen...well odds are not in your favor. A new engine not working well is very often just a tuning issue. I used to go through mine all the time and people told me it was not needed...unless there was an issue. Just like with my parents and other elders growing up. They were right. (I hate when that happens). ;-)

well i actually sealed the engine because there was a leak in the carb, a leak in the back plate and a leak on the head. the engine was ok at first and then everything happened at once lol... but I'm working out the kinks on this nightmare, i never really need help on anything else but tuning, i dont understand why.. but i suck at it unless the weather is like 70-80

Did new clutch bearings fix it?

converted my throttle and brake linkage, the difference is night and day. just wow!

ran into a pole at about 30 mph, lost control trying to turn away and by the time i reacted i hit the pole with my front right tire, LUCKILY it didnt hurt anything but the steering linkage... i was so afraid i broke my $150 servo, but nope! a $5 dollar part. i like breaking things, its so fun breaking it down(when its not expensive)
