right now I'm working on a transmitter case. Its going to custom fit my controller and make sure it will not get harmed when not in use. It will be great for home and travel.
Right now I'm taking a solid peice of wood and i outlined the radio on it. now I'm cutting it and that will go inside this one prezel box. The box is almost the exact size so it works great. I put a layer of bondo on it now I'm putting fiber glass on it. Once I'm done fiberglassing i will cut it open and start working on the fitting to where my controller goes. i will most likely fiberglass the inside of the too and add some foam strips to the wood so it does not hurt the controller. I just need to find a good latch now..

I would leave enough room for heavy padding, not just strips.
Radio equipment is delicate.
Looks great man.

well thanx for your advise. still a long way to go though..I wish I just could skip to paint and stickers...but tommorrow I might get the fiberglass done and then I have to design all of the interior which isn't going to be a blast but that is why they call it custom.

nah...not much time to work on it since i just got my brothers 11 second daily driver runnig again...most of my focus is making sure its not over heating and whatnot
