I already sold the old engine (the hyper 8 port).

By the way, looks like the header i got from bruce will work, but now that i have broken the exhaust gasket that came with my sirio (a really thin one) i have to get another because all of my others are way too fat...

Excuses Excuses.

LOL... I wish i had more time to work on everything i needed... I have the maxx, the gt, the mustang, and the saltwater fish hobby...

Sorry guys, this project is on the backburner for now... I am involved in the fish scene more than anything right now... when i go by the hobby shop, i will pick up the needed gasket and finish this thing up...

Hows the Stang coming? Its been a very long time since I have even seen any pic of it I think you had just rebuilt the front end on it last time I seen it.

Its kinda sittin... I need to get it apart to get paint on it, but I'm so damned busy... I think I'm gonna end up sellin the new suspension components and am going to buy coil-over suspension for it plus power rack and pinion steering...

That would make it handle better for sure! I know what you mean about putting it aside. I put my Impala in storage untill I have the money and time to work on it.

Alright guys... My friend is now seriously gettin into the hobby, and talking me into gettin my rcs goin... Well, i put this thing together, and it looks pretty sweet! I can't take pics till the camera gets home with my dad... I'll get pics up as soon as i can... I'm gonna go to my friend's house and break er in this weekend, so hopefully vids will soon follow.

LOL... I am workin on this thing again... I was gonna drive it, but my batteries ended up not working (i use a 5-cell hump pack), so i got a new one, and charged it, but now the electronics wont work... I'm in a pickle, but i'll figure it out... It has been raining cats and well, who knows what else, so i can't run it till the roads dry up...

So why wait for it to dry? it's not like your going to have traction problems.

Believe it or not, i got to drive it today. Took a little while to fire, then it started right up. Sounded like a 2-stroke dirt bike with the HPI ribbed pipe this thing has on it. Fairly loud, but it goes with the theme. I got through about 4 tanks, then my friend snapped the rear turnbuckle rod end. Ended the day, but i took it home, and fixed it up in nothing flat. I'm gonna take it out to his house tomorrow and finish break in, and hopefully put some nice, fast gearing on it and see what she will do!

Btw, the electronic problem was the receiver. The 2nd channel is messed up, so the throttle servo wasn't working. I stole the receiver off of my Maxx until i get a new one.

Got it a little dirty today. I will take pics before i run it again. I'm gonna work on the vid as soon as i get everything dialed in. I don't know where i can get this thing up to speed, but i will be looking around. I'm thinking i will need to lower this thing too (make it a couple mm's off the ground).
