got a 2.5 maxx broke it in and it ran great but now any thing over 1/4 throttle and servos go crazy, can't steer and gos full throttle. let off of throttle and they will center in time. changed batterys did not help. any help? thanks

Check to make sure that all metal to metal connections (ie engine to engine mounts) are nice and snug. Any loose metal on metal will create a high frequency interference (due to the vibrations) when the engine starts really going. This can and will cause the servos to "glitch". A common location for this kind of problem is the screw that is used to attach the pipe hanger to the chassis, but I'd check all.

Another thing that I'd recommend checking is the connections at the receiver. Make sure all of the servo plugs are firmly seated in the receiver pack. If these are loose, you will get the same behavior ("glitching") when the engine gets moving due to high vibration.

Check for stripped wiring or exposed wire that could be rubbing on the chassis as well.

At first it sounded like the servo saver, but, if it is that sporatic then I am going to say its some MASSIVE metal to metal chatter or an exposed wire.

Let us know....

thanks ill check it out in the am. and let you know:thumbsup:

As weird as it seems, check to see that your batteries are fully charged.

And you complain that people do not read the full post before responding. He claims to have changed out his batteries with no change. :sneaky:
