"Jumped out of a 4 story roof, landed, and that happened."

Define "landed".........

I landed fine, The truck just couldn't take the impact, it's not as bad as it seems, the screws just let go and everything fell apart. I bent a few things though, such as the TVPs. I posted this pic. because it looks like it got ran over by a car, lol. Considering, it's only about 80 bucks worth of damage.

That the first time i have ever seen someone break a savage in that particular way. Oh well there is a first for everything. Congrdulations.

At one of my LHS, this guy just bought the Savage a couple of days before bringing it in for a part. When he gets the new part in he tests it out in front of the shop when he didn't see the tow truck that works next door coming up the street when WHAM! he ran it over. lol Looked like turtle roadkill.

thats the worst looking savage i've ever seen. i would of loved to see a video of the crash.

Nice, do you have clips on the 4 story drop? damn nice, i never saw someone beat there truck that bad.

Nice carnage, now get it back together and shoot some video for us!

I think you have redefined the term "basher".

After studying the photo closely, I spotted why the almightly (sarcasm) Savage broke. The Elmers general purpose glue you are using for assembly will only withstand a two (2) story drop.;)

Great Photo, Great Story

Mr T

I was wondering if anyone would notice the Elmers, I use that for the getting screws to stick 2 the screw-drivers when I have 2 get them into tight places. I brought the truck in for repairs(don't have time 2 do it my self), on Sun. we will be bashing it with new Carbon-Fiber TVPs on a vert ramp. Don't worry, we are going to have a tarp set up 2 practice on first. lol

Damage would have been 10x worse if you landed upside down. doesn't seem too bad conisdering it was 4 story drop, but bad enough.

One question, why idd you try to jump off a four story building in the first place?? next question, did you use a ramp? :hammer:
savager

there was 2 feet of snow at the bottom, and yes, we used a ramp

yes i agree with savager21, why did you do 4 when you can do 5?
lol

Why would you have someone do it for you?
I always find time. Working on them is more fun than driving them imo!
