lately i have been having steering problems where it doesn't always turn in properly.

Ihave tried replacing the batteries - no change
checked servo saver is tightened down
checked tie rods to see if they are bent

any ideas what the problem is
thanking you in advance supercharged

try checking the gears in the servo they might be striped and is the steering power switch turn't to full power.
i had the same problem once.

The servo is nearly brand new and its a HS-645MG (the one quite alot of people run)
The steering power is on full

also i lifted the front wheels off the ground turned right-released-wheels centered, turned left-released-wheels stayed left

I would check your steering on the left side. Sounds like something is binding.

I think i have fixed it :hammer: i loosened some of the screws a bit, replaced the dogbones because one looked bent (heavy dutyyer right) in the servo saver i also lined u pthe silver spring thing so it is in the middle
I also sanded down the part where the c-hub and steering block meet
know it turns well and the only problem is keeping the wheels on the ground to turn.
 thanks for the troubleshooting ideas.

If your front wheels are lifting when you turn, you can try going higher wt diff oil.

I will probably try doing this but its also my .46 lifting the front up as well

oh so you mean the wheels are lifting from doing wheelies, not from turning.
