Whoo hoo! Just a few more hours then I'm off to get my heavy metal fix for the year!

Going to see the Family Values Tour with KORN, Def Tones, Stoned Sour and a couple other bands this afternoon and evening!

As a double bonus, it's held at Riverbend, which is Cincinnati's outdoor ampitheater and it is POURING RAIN today! My buddy and I have pavillion seats, so we'll be nice and dry, enjoying a nice, cold beer and watch all the teenagers with more piercings than a voo doo doll doing mud slides out in the lawn and horse-laughing them! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Should be one helluva show!

Awesome show! My ears are still ringing, couldn't believe the seats we scored. Sixth row, dead center and man was it LOUD! Saw some interesting bands, but my favorites were 10 Years, Flyleaf and of course, KORN. Def Tones had a horrible set, but I think it was more their sound man's fault than theirs. Probably the oddest bands were Dir En Grey and Deadsy.

Overall, had an excellent time! Rained the entire show, but it was an awesome show!

Korn and Rob Zombie are my favorite live shows. Def tones suck more than Michal Jackson at a cub scout jamboree...

I got to see KORN in 1995 when they opened for Ozzy. Had front row seats. Damn, that whole night was LOUD. But KORN was definitely tight and put on one hell of a set. And of course Ozzy still ruled...

I had a chance to see them two times when Head was still there, man, those were some incredible shows! Last night they had a small cast of characters playing along with the original four, but geez, they were an odd lot for sure! One guy was wearing a jackyl mask and kept high-stepping around the stage, another guy had a gas mask on and they were all wearing short sleeve white dress shirts with black shorts and black ties. Kind of reminded me of a Mike's Car Wash crew on acid!

Still a great show and Jonathon did play "Shoots and Ladders" which is something to be seen live!
