Could I put this ESC and motor in either one of these RC 4wd buggies?

Late to the party.

That Optima will not hold that HW ESC. There just isn't enough room in the chassis for it. And that motor is way to hot for that buggy. You'd want to drop down to around 3200kv or so. Or a 19.5T motor. You don't want to run any more than 2S on it.

Ehm.... no brainer.... jato is literally just a slash. Which I have no issues with. If I wanted a 1/8 buggy though... id buy a 1/8 buggy. Not a slash with a buggy body and wing.

For 349 and since you told me you’re not looking for a huge amount of speed, the Traxxas will work pretty.
