As most of you probably know, America's sports car gets a facelift next year. The 2005 C6 Corvette will be out next fall. Here are the first pics.

looks alot like the C5 but then again it looks different too. kind of looks a little like a ferrari now. i like it.

That looks sweet. Bout time they changed it up. Wonder if it will still have the pop-up headlights.

I think I just messed myself.... Someday, somehow... I WILL have one of those... American muscle...........

I dont like the body style of the new ones.. I say the best and only corvette that can be called a corvette is a 1967 427 stingray. That is the one and only corvette.

The answer is no. They have done away with the pop-up headlights. It will also be more powerful, pushing right at 400hp.

The 67 is one of the sweetest cars ever made, but I really like the look of the C6. Some angles it resembles a Viper, some angles it resembles a Ferrari, but it definitely keeps the Vette look. I think it has progressed nicely since the late 80's, early 90's. The only problem with it is that I can't afford one!

Aftermarket bodies are fiberglass.. my uncle has a fiberglass 67 vette its a racecar...

I was really hoping they were going to use this prototype for the 2004 vette... I really need one of these...

They say it will be comparable to the current cost, which has a base msrp of $44,000.
