Where should I check for the correct temp? Should I check directly in the center at the glow plug or should I check directly on the cooling head. I've found that they differ in temp. Which place is correct.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

WHat about the probe? the onboard kind? they go right at the bast of the gp on the cooling head. does that mean they are less acurate?

I have both the axial temp gun, (temp pen would be more accurate) and I run the Traxxas on board guages, so you would think I would have compared the two by now, go figure....
I tend to use them both only as a rough guide, may as well spit on the cooling head, cause I think they're both VERY SCARY at times.
