copper head shims..

i have a mill that I'm suspecting is on its last leg. I'm thinking it has way low compression and just beat up..(not by me).. if i take the copper head shim out, will it help for a little bit? or is that a waste of time.... its an hpi motor.. just trying to squeeze the last breath out..

i think it will be a waste just put a new piston and sleeve in it

hey.. thanx for the heads up.. i just checked the hpi web page and you can do a motor swap for $65.. thats a pretty good deal, were as to traxxas is $110.. I'm not messing with it any more. it will be in a box by thursday. m y other rs4 came with a brand new mill that i still have to break in..
