Cooling head

Is this a custom cooling head? It is a trx 2.5.

It seems odd that it is cut out, does it seem wierd to anybody else?

Yeah it seems weird. I'm not really sure why you would want to cut out a part of the cooling head.

Thats just it, it came like that. Would there be any gains to that?

Well it was done very well. Not a single tool mark and so well that I thought it was how they come. so unless he was a master machineist (which he wasn't) i doubt he could do it that well.

Maybe its to create some sort of wierd air vortex around the head...

That would be cool. And that would explain the cool temps i am running at. lol

It just might seeing as how some of the cooling fins are gone......

ya its wierd and it makes it run wierd so....

Umm not really. In fact I think I pretty much got it tuned. but still kinda odd.

ya um.... maby when the previacice owner had it he like took a jump and hit something so it broke it clean off
