cooling head

hello
i am realy anoyed now i keep smashing fins off my cooling head from when i filip the truck and land on a rock, does any one know a way to protect the fins? also i don't want to use a cage because i can't have a body shell if i do that.

The only way to completely protect your engine from smashing cooling fins is to use a roll cage, the best one is probably the RC-Solutions one. You can use Zip ties to prevent scratches and scrapes to some extent but with out a roll cage you can't protect it completely.

Well, maybe you could use a SUV body like a Hummer, but if you land upside down on a rock that would probably break too.

raise and flip the rear body post helps tons but looks semi odd
