cooling head for sirio?

I've never ran one of them, but I picked up the Nova head from NovaRC.com and it works and looks great. That one from ACNC looks pretty sweet, and it's a decent price.

I just installed one on my Tmaxx. It's huge. Also makes a world of difference to the running temp. I installed a tuned pipe at the same time, and the car is ripping at take off and high end, and I'm not leaning it out any more. It's holding 235 during hard runs.

I haven't seen that particular ACNCM head for the picco? But it looks like the rest of their heads, and they are really good. I have had the T-Maxx head & a friend just recently scooped up their head for the Savage. I would highly recommend them & you really can't beat their price for what you get.

Later....

My former Sirio .18 that use to be HumboltBlazers that now belongs to MasterBeavis (but his ass blew it up) had damn good temps with the stock head. If it aint broke don't fix it (in his slack Jaw voice).

Bigboys my man, If I was gonna get a aftermarket cooling head for a SIrio .18, I say spend the money and get a NOva. I have heard good things about american CNC's cooling heads though (I can't say the same thing about the rest of their products though).

Heh, it didnt take much to blow it up!! :nuke: I am gong to send the piston/sleave off to get it pinched, and in the meantime will try some different fuel (aside from the traxass stuff) and see if my other sirio will run any better or cooler. Mebbe O'donnel 20%??? EIther that or blue thunder (LHS doesn't carry a wide selection :() After the fuel change(s) if this thing doesn't start running good at cooler temps, I will definatley waste the money on a cooler head, and eventually, a SB .21
