I'm looking for the best, most complete .21 conversion kit for the old style T-Maxx.

What are your guys ideas and thoughts?

Thanks,

-Michael

You could go with a CyberMaxx.
You should be able to convert without having to purchase any additional parts to start.

What about drive shafts and so one? Will the sliders really be able to handle the .21?

Also do I need to do anything special to the tranny to hold up to the .21?

-Michael

Dynamite and XTM make a complete kit with drive shafts and all. I heard the XTM kit was no longer in production, but i'm not sure about that. The price is around $150 for the XTM kit.

XTM is no longer as in the company or just the kit?

I've seen the XTM conversion kits go for about $100-120 on eBay.

Have you checked out RC Limited? They have several conversion kit options. I purchased a tranny skid from them and it was very nice, and the customer service was very good as well. Check em out.

At the Hobby People in Orange they still have the XTM .21 conversion in stock. I think they have 1 blue and 1 red and if I'm not mistaken they're only selling it for $100. I'll have to double check the price.

i have the XTM .21 conversion kit on my maxx and it seems to be working good. the cvd's and everything are really nice to have. the only thing that u need to do is put some lock tight on them before u put them on. trust me, if u dont it is not good.
