they can bring t back forward so it lands and what not

What Rolex said and abad implied. Remember the BIGGER the jump, the more time you have to control it, more air time, yadda yadda.
If you dont want to risk damage get a friend to catch it, just remember to brake before they do, or if they're scared nothing a towel to use as a net wont fix....
