So I took my trx pro .15 apart to clean and seal. Before I could look the piston and com rod came out of the motor. Cleaned all parts then reassembled. That's when I noticed the groove in the conrod. Foes this groove go towards the flywheel or towards the back plate side of the motor. I checked the piston for the mark to show front but I'm unable to see it. I don't wanna kill the motor cuz of a small mistake like this. I checked manual already and it says nothing. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure the groove ( with small holes at each end )faces the flywheel if i remember corectly ....i had the same question when i took my 3.3 appart ...but was able to find it in the exploded view ....it has something to do with lubrification

look at this ..it should help ;)..i just fount it ...the side with small holes face the flywheel

it says that it has to face the crank shaft ....the cranck shaft is the front ...no crank shaft in the rear

But the pic shows it facing the back plate. I'm gonna check my 3.3 was tring to avoid pulling it apart
