I just got my other t maxx in the mail and it wont start. It is an OS Max motor, not sure the size but it is a pull start. My other t maxx has the ez start so it has the wire going to the glow plug. Since this other is a pull start will i need a glow plug ignitor in order to start it. If so, can I take the ez start of my other t maxx and put it on the OS Max.

The OS will need a seperate glow plug igniter. The easy start will not bolt directly to the OS engine, you will need a conversion kit that would include a new starter shaft to fit the traxxas one way bearing, and a back plate adapter.

Thanks for the info NCNitro. Could you get that conversion kit at the LHS, or is it something that you have to get form the manufacturer of the motor.

why don't you just get a glow ignitor? It will be a lot cheaper.

I agree just get a glow igniter, you can get one for about $20, the conversion kit is from a horrible company that I will not recommend or even send them any buisness, sorry, but they screwed me personally. I like the pull start better now anyway. If you really want to use the easy start pm me. I have the adapter and will give you a great deal on it, but I still dont recommend it. You will eat one way bearings like they are made of plastic, just not good at all imo. The OS one ways are at least twice as strong as the traxxas ones.

I will recommend the adapter from KHB. I have been using it for a couple of months and it has been working great. I have yet to have any problems that NCNitro has mentioned. But I still keep my one way and pullstarter in my field box just incase.

thanks for all the info guys, maybe down the road i will purchase the conv, but for now i will go with you guys advice, thanks
