Computer Guru Question

I installed a new 1TB HDD in my computer last night and made it my primary HDD, reinstalled my OS on it and updated it to Windows 8.1, I made my old primary HDD my secondary HDD which also has Windows 8.1 on it. My question to the computers Gurus, is there a way to gain access to my desk top files that contained pictues ect. that were on the desk top of what is now my secondary HDD that will now just be used for storage?

Your secondary drive is probably letter D or E or something along those lines. Go to the drive then go to Users > (your username) > My Pictures. Should be all there. Or maybe My Documents.

Yup. Click on 'Start', 'My Computer' then the drive letter that is your old HDD. Everything will be just as you left it.
