I have a Megatech Neo 16 ST engine that has a serious leak. I have fuel spraying out around the cooling head and I believe the problem to be the spacer or the head button but I'm not quite sure. I also am wondering if anyone knows a place where I can order new parts for the engine. I have searched the net and can't find anything. Please help cause I am new at this hobby.

gorilla, if I were you I would look for a different engine. Considering the engine is only $80 at towerhobbies, (I could not find any parts anywhere) when you do find parts for it your going to end up paying more to rebuild the engine then buying an OS and you still won't have the realiablility of the OS. You can get a descent engine for right around $100 with more power, and a longer life.

Sorry I couldn't help you more.

curious, Have you checked the actual head? did you strip the threading on the cooling head? Fuel spurting out may be caused by this.

VB has a good point but depending on your budget may make you use this one.

Let me know on the threadiing issue.

I am going to get a new engine if I can't fix my current one and I have one more question. What is the engine size restrictions for my car? I got an RS4. Thanks.

I think the main problem is big block vs small block. You just need a small block engine (typically .12-.18).

If fuel is squirting out from under the head check the head screws like jon2 said. Maybe you can just tighten them up and run 'er for another gallon or so.

Before you tighten them, it may be a good idea to take the head off and clean the seal point to get any dirt off of the seal.

one of the holes for the scews that hold the cooling head on is stripped down about half way. I think that might be my problem. What I want to know though is there any way I can get a 21 to work on my RS4? If not, what is the problem not alowing the bigger engine to fit?

I do recall Kwong was trying to accomplish a 21 in a RS4 2. Hit em up or do a search on it. He is pretty crazy on the RS4's

Would the Ofna Force .12S be a good replacement engine for my car or not?
