so on monday i register for classes. i will start august 22. i graduated from high school six years ago promising myself 1 yr off and then i would go to college! well 6 yrs later all it took was a recession to get me motivated enough to go back. my wife is being very supportive and she surprised the hell out of me when she said she would work while i was in school! I'm nervous and excited but we will see how it goes!

Good luck man. I did something like that. Went to college right after HS and got my Bachelor's. Told myself I'd take a year off before I went to Grad School. Yeah. Right. 5 years later I was married and working when I just decided that I'd had enough with a bunch of dead-end jobs and went back to school. 2 years later I had my Masters and finally had a career. Then, like an idiot, 5 years after that I did it AGAIN to get my Doctorate. At least now I know that I'm not going to college again!!!

yeah I'm just glad that all i have to do is concentrate on college for the next 3 yrs. not working is going to make it a lot easy. especially with my major nuclear engineering.

Congrats, I was going to go to college too, now I'm married, have a 2 year old, and working in a factory while my wife goes to school, so if I do go to college it'll be a while, glad to hear your going though, smart move~
