anyone know the factory collari .30 needle settings? i just got mine today and i always like to double check them before i fire them up. but i can't find the settings... also i read that there are two diff low speed needles, the first run engines had a black one that is no good and the later ones have a silver one that is re-deisgned or sometihng? i dunno mine is black? thanx in advance!

You are correct, first run had black which at stock needle settigns will stick out of the housing about 1.5 mm. Newer ones have silver which will be about flush with housing. No performance differences between the two. If you received a black one, email werks and they will send you the updated needle.

break in settings are 7.5 HSN, 4.5 LSN.

Congrats on the new engine!

ok thand alot sweetdiesel, I had to lean the low speed about an 1/8 turn to get it to idle.. man that engine sounds mean. really tingy like a bike or something. dont think ill get to drive it today, tommorow though.

did your motor not want to start when it was warm? i always pre-heat me engines before starting them during break in but this one wont start unless its cool.

Mine tends to be impossible to start when the carb is too hot. I usually let it cool a few minutes between runs.
