Nope, no luck. Is there anything I can do? I tried the one on my XTM enigine but it doesn't fit...I really wanna run this thing...

Looks like it's LHS time. Too bad you weren't closer to me. I'd just rethread a new bold for ya.

Yea, if I only had a LHS. Closest one is 2 hours away...:(

I was thinking, could I just put a spot of solder on either side of the carb? This way It would stay on and if I needed to take it of I could just melt the solder and remove it. Or is this a bad idea, only problem I though of was damaging the seals...I would try this on a cheaper engine, but I don't want to F this Collari up.

j-b wed is your FRIEND. put a SMALL spot on the carb. and then when you need it off, just gentally tap it with a screwdriver.

Well I don't have access to a welder, but do you think solder would do the trick?

i went ahead and got one, I'm on my 4th tank now and so far it seems to run well...alot of snap off the line.....ill post after break in

Does Collari have a website? Maybe you can order one up from them?!?

They do, www.werksracing.com I think it is. But I don't think I can buy stuff on there. I talked to my buddy and he thinks the jb weld will do the trick.

00silvy, you don't seem too impressed...I'm worried lol. How did you break yours in? Heat cycle?

Well you can buy parts there, but i don't see just the carb mounting stuff...

Do they have a number to call to order parts? Or maybe a web address to contact for Q&A's?

I'm not sure, but the thing is I don't want to wait to run this thing...I'm so impacient lol :) Thanks for the help Revo Rancher.

Go to the site I gave you and ask for some help. I'm sure someone on there can help you with what you need.

I know the feeling, AC48. We pay this much money for "toys" so we want to use them NOW! (just like your 3000 GT!)

I am not a big fan of JB Weld, but only because I can be a little sloppy when it comes to stuff in tubes.

I am no longer a gold member so I had to delete all my PM's, could you send me that link again? Thanks.

Yea the 3000GT is awesome! But you spend $185 on an engine, ya kinda wanna use it...like...now. :D

I'd rather have the nut, but if the JB would hold it on I'd rather do that than wait a week for a stupid little nut lol.

AC...i am very impressed with this motor, i setup this motor for my brother's car, i have a mayhem with the stock .26 in it and this motor has more pep than it. I'm still on the 5th tank but so far it seems to be running great. Hope you get your problems fixed soon.

AC I'd wait til you have the nut...IF you are going to try the JBWeld seal the carb w/ racers choice or that copper sealant....it will give a little more sealing to the carb....w/o the nut you won't be able to really close the throat around the carb.....and once you start dipping goop down there in a new engine.....never know what might slide into your new mill voiding any chance of a warranty issue

Well I still haven't found anywhere to get the nut. I assume it would either come with the enigne case, or the carb, but both those are expensive and I have no extra cash right now, blew it all on the mill :)

00silvy, I can't wait to start this thing up. I think it should be better than a XTM mill...
