I am wondering if anyone knows of a good compression tester and crankcase pressure tester. Being a race engine builder for other kinds of engines i relied on such items for obvious reasons. I feel I can't rely on the " if the piston pushes thru the sleeve its worn out" test. Kinda new to the nitro r/c thing and was wondering who makes em and what are the best ones. I'm not sure if anyone even makes a crankcase pressure tester but I would like to use it to test for air leaks and such.

thanks

Cool.....I'm adding that to my list of things to buy,

I would have to get new guage and all due to the difference in the amount of compression...mine starts @ 80lbs

thought my engine was wore out ...but i found a deteriated crank bearing....replaced and ran fine...I just am the type of perfectionist with my mill that I want insurance of no more leaks and top notch comp.

and I guess I didnt search right or something cause I found zilch at tower.

I can't speak on the Dynamite one, but I have the Hobbico one and its only good for .12 and .15 mills with standard size cooling heads. I havent found a big block I can use it on YET!

The stem is too short.

Oh well.

Maybe I can get the specs from Dynamite on theirs.

Thanks guys

Think I'm gonna try out the dynamite

appreciate the help
