Well first off your not supposed to put a donut on the front... second of all USED TIRE SHOP!!

50 miles a day on a doughnut spare?!?! ROFLMAO

They are emergency spare tires, so you can get to a garage and have it replaced, not use it like a regular tire for a week.

Hey NRC Basher, please tell me you called them a dumbass for doing this.............. well you know, after they paid you.

Yeah, not everyone makes 100k/year. I'd have gave her a new tire for free. I hate to see people in a bind, especially independent women.

there is a car in the parking lot here that has a tire on the front with no tread on it. i dont mean its bald, i mean like the retread came off!!! there still driving it to!! been like a month! the next car over has paper tags, and has had them for i know the last 4 months.. some people..

It always amazes me that people will drive around, or worse, put their wife and kids in a car with these horrible tires. It's like they've been bald for months, dry rotted for years, and they don't mind putting the family on the interstate on those tires. All it takes is for one of those tires to give up the ghost at 70 mph and throw the car into a ditch, flipping end over end, and burning the survivors alive. I know everyone isn't made of money, but I was rather see someone take the bus than driving on the road on may-pop's. Marauder, I know what you mean. I've bought a few sets of tires for single women and mothers trying to make ends meet just because I knew how dangerous it was, same with brakes.

there used to be a guy around my town that had FOUR donuts on his car!! unbelievable

well luckily for her, i had a later model Century that had been totaled but had tires that were almost brand new. the rest of the tires were bald on her car, so she got 4 new tires, a brand new donut, and i left her a little not inside.

the note read: "anytime you need repairs, call me. i know how hard it is for someone to get started, so everything is free for the next 5 years. good luck in life"

i felt soo good after that. after she said thank you, she went out to her car. she ran back in, holding the note, crying. after 5 mins of THANK YOU SOO MUCH i finally got a phone call and she let me get back to work.

I think the whole doughnut spare tire is a joke. I remember when all cars had full size spares. Of course gas was $1 a gallon too.

how old r u mr clean? lol j/k i remember when gas was 89 cents

Have you heard of dirt?

I can remember waiting in lines with my parents in the 70's when the 'oil crisis' was in full swing. I can remember the prices being below .75 a gallon.

Much respect, takes a real man to spot someone in need and help them out. There's a good song about this, not sure if you're a country fan or not...damn I'm a redneck...

Had it been some retard with an iphone and new shoes I'd have charged them a premium, lol.

well we get some of those every once and a while. hot shot wannabes n Bmws with those F****n alloy whees. they ride on the rim all the way here and the rim is completly destroyed then they bitch me out. the last guy started screaming at me. so i put a tube in the tire and put it on the rim. he made it around the block and the tire shredded.

 That was a hell of a good deed.

Feels good to help someone a little down on their luck.
