Any good suggestions on a good clutch for my savage x wit the lrp.32? I started wit a stock 5.9 clutch during the break in but now I'm questioning if its strong enough, it seems to slip a lil the longer i run it.

i use integy clutches in all my machines. no problems yet, seem to do a good enough job

Bifft which one of your savages perform the best as far as speed, I got my eye on that xl now since the second x is almost finish

I'm not really a speed freak so its hard to say. have the 2 trucks with high dollar motors in them (picco and novarossi) they have barely a gallon on each and are not completely broke-in yet. i like the novarossi-XL, but also like the picco-X, lol but then the LRP-XL is fun too. i like all my trucks, reason i havent sold out yet

You can not go wrong with a BUKU clutch.

This clutch is adjustable externally through three allen screws located in the flywheel. I have my BUKU adjusted so that each shoe comes in at a different RPM. This allows the engine reach a higher RPM before the clutch starts to engage and makes the car accelerate much faster than with a standard clutch.

In addition, the shoes have a bonded friction material last much longer than either aluminum or carbon shoes.

The Buku clutch is without question the top tier of nitro engine clutches.
A little expensive but you will not be disappointed in the quality and performance.
