clutch Will not release

Hello I'm new to the rc world and just got a tmaxx and when i tried to start it today it seems the clutch wont disengage. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

you will have to take the clutch bell off and see if the spring is broken. if it is theres your problem.

Also check and see if the clutch bell bearings are frozen and need to be replaced.

Ok first id want to say thanks for the tip i found the broken spring in the clutch bell. What is the other clutch for on the spur gear i guess its called and should it spin free or not. Thanks again for the help

That's the slipper, it's what helps keep shock load out of your trany.
It needs set to where you can just make it slip by hand, then fine tune it if needed.
