RC Driving Style
I am adding an Integy 3 shoe clutch to my 3.3 Maxx 4908, and I want to know the advantages to putting a 15 or 17 tooth clutch bell instead of the stock gear.

Nick

Less teeth, more low end take off. More teeth, more high end speed. More taste, less filling.
The opposite applies to the spur gear.

what would we do without you rolex, if you have the time i would like to know the meaning of life and how the universe was started
what do you like better, high speed runs or just trolling around the terrain hitting jumps and climbing hills and stuff?
once you decide how and where youll be driving, you can pick an apporiate tooth size, i have a savage basher i use on the roads and dirt lots, it has a 16t,and i have a truggy that i set up for running in the sand pit, climbing 50 ft high piles of sand, i run a 14t on that, sometimes a 13t
so, i guess what I'm saying is, describe to us your driving style

Well, a long, long time ago, as I wandered aimlessly through a barren universe, I.........

This will take several minutes to explain to low life humans, so catch me later.

I don't know about him, but I like 'trolling'.

driving habits

occaisionally i go fast, but speed usually means breaking things for me. I like to go climb dirt, sand, clay hills and some jumps. Not really into racing, just tearing up the terrain

trolling is an uk word, they have cool slang in the uk and australia too
hey, wait a minute! did you just call me a lowlife?

i would try anything between a 13t to a 16t, for random acts of terrain abuse i would use a 15t, hardned of course, if you sent it to me i could polish it up so you can shave it like a mirror, lol or powdercoat it

heres a flywheel i did for a local guy, i did his clutch bell, but didnt take a pic, ill do one for you though so you can see what it would look like

sorry, i'm not following. I just bought a new Integy 3 shoe and it came with a new flywheel. what does 'shave it like a mirror' mean?

i meant shave in it like it was a mirror, meaning its so polished that it look like a mirror...i do polishing and powdercoating for people with rc vehicles and atv's
I'm sorry sometimes i think I'm more popular than i really am and that everyone knows me and what i do lol
ah hell, nevermind, the kids are asleep, the wifes out of town and I've been hitting the sixpack

now i understand. the polishing i'm not really into, with the jeep i think i'd go with the powdercoat. If I can get a rollcage for my wrangler body made, I would like to have it powdercoated too. Also, all I can find are chrome metal bumpers but I want powdercoated instead. any ideas?
