Ok guy aim still new to the nitro world and u need some help. I’m starting on my third clutch spring today is there any aftermarket on or something I can do to stop from breaking the spring
 
Ditch the stock clutch period, it blows. You just can't get the idle speed low enough to stop the clutch from dragging, that is what breaks them.

A set of medium clutch shoes with 1.0 springs and his modified clutchnut will last for gallons with no problems. Worth every cent.
